You have to consider that there are several factors why there is an increase in weight. One of the many reasons for most people is that the diet they follow is rather unhealthy. Not only is this a high factor in weight gain but also one that keeps your metabolism slow.

This method however is nothing new, it has been widely used on the Asian continent for thousands of years. What you want to do is simply get a glass of lukewarm water. Add 2 tablespoons of squeezed lemon juice. Optional choice is to add maple syrup or honey to the mix. Make this your daily routine first thing in the morning if possible.

Lemons are packed with lots essential nutrients and are high in vitamin C, and they’re also a great source of citric acid and potassium. The very many benefits this drink provides is to give your immune system a boost, cleansing your system by flushing out the toxins. It also aids digestion, and most importantly helps you lose weight.

You can also try adding to that recipe or making an entirely new one by adding different ingredients such as herbs, vegetables and fruits. Common ingredients include cucumber, lime, orange, kale/spinach, mint leaves. Some recipes can be put into a blender to make a delicious fruit smoothie.

Just make sure your detox plan ensures you to remove as much foods as possible that are processed, high in caffeine, bad unhealthy fats (saturated and trans), and alcohol.
